Lucas Eastwood is founder and president of Eastwood Development. After serving in two combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan as a member the 82nd Airborne Division and a Special Operations Unit, Lucas moved to San Francisco not knowing what his future held. He found work as a construction laborer while taking college classes.
Ultimately, he realized his purpose and fulfillment lay in providing his services in helping people make their dream homes a reality as well as providing job security and employment opportunities within his company. Lucas earned his contractor’s license in 2007 and began building his company from the ground up, one project at a time. From nothing but a dream of what he might be able to accomplish, Lucas has grown his company to include a varied portfolio of sophisticated residential home builds for clients. He also began creating rewarding investment opportunities comprised of single family projects in San Francisco to large scale residential developments and multi-unit long-term and short-term real estate assets in San Francisco and Portland.
Lucas remains driven by his ambitious spirit as well as dedication to being a family owned and employee centered organization. He has an ability to bring increasingly architecturally sophisticated ventures to realization. He continues to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business from acquisition and investment to the design and build of development and client projects.
Lucas grew up on and is an enrolled tribal member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) in Oregon.
Lucas won the Army Commodation Medal (ACROM), Army Achievement Medal (AAM) as well as an Expert Infantryman Badge (EIM), and worked for a semester at West Point instructing cadets in live fire exercises.
